The Wanaka Urban Downhill took place yesterday. A good old fashion 1 minute something hill bomb from the top of Lismore park, to the lake front. The course involved everything from loose, off camber corners, to bombing flights of stairs, and gapping through trucks. A good field of riders turned up, and plenty of spectators. Despite nasty wind, and a bit of rain the event was great. A huge effort on behalf of the local race organizers. Plenty of entertaining crashes to keep everyone on their toes too.
