Tim Pierce is the founding director of Zeros&Ones. Tim has made his niche as an extreme sports videographer and photographer who is well regarded for his profession on the international scene. Born in Papua New Guinea, and raised in Wanaka New Zealand Tim’s assignments have seen him travel the world filming and photographing the globes most talented athletes for the likes of Atomic, The North Face and Red Bull as well as in the realm of commercial advertising. Tim created Zeros&Ones to harness and house all of his concepts. He has created and directed well known action sports material such as the internationally successful series the Winter of Wells, mountain biking movie ‘How About It’, New Zealand Tourism Television Commercials and the recent series ‘Revealing Lake Wanaka’.
His entrepreneurial, professional and technical nous coupled with pure hard work have aided his reaching success at such short notice. Recently contracted to Atomic, Tim is currently filming and directing his next documentary about the worlds best freeskiing family from Wanaka, New Zealand starring, Kiwi’s Jossi,Byron, Beau & Jackson Wells. In a world where its becoming easier to pick up a camera, Tim is carving out an untracked path which is pushing the limitations of film making and how it is viewed.
