Here’s MIA episode 3 straight off the Red Bull Media House youtube channel. In this ep, we start out by giving you a little insight into Jake & Rolands characters and profile the town of Haines. We then hop into the bird and find our selves in a few interesting situations! After one gnarly ‘toe in’ heli landing, we all watched on in terror as Roland almost paid the ultimate price, catching a toe edge at the top of one of the steepest lines of the trip! He got away with murder! Hit play.

Red Bull Mates in Alaska Episode 2 – Heli Runs and shooting guns
Short Film: Into the Arrow
Arrowtown, New Zealand is an incredible site during the Autumn months. The heavily vegetated town irrupts into almost every tone of red, yellow, green and orange. It inspired me enough to go shoot this short film with Conor Macfarlane ripping some soft, loamy, leafy single track. Had alot of fun getting Danny Fairly, AKA Civilian Sol to compose the sound track and soundfx, and Lindsay Horner on the colour grade and titles. Shot this on the Canon5DMKII and SonyFS700. Go HD, full screen, pump ya speakers hit play and enjoy.

Bluebridge Ferry 30′ TVC
At the beginning of last year I was assigned to shoot the Tour of New Zealand cycle race for Ben Carter. It was an incredible memorable experience and a great way to explore the South Island. Ben also used some of my imagery from this shoot in a series of commercials he directed for Bluebridge Ferry. Gotta love NZ!

The Quiet Achiever – Conor Macfarlane
For many years I have wanted to create a multimedia project that crosses visual mediums, from print in a magazine through to the digital screen with a film. The opportunity arose when Conor Macfarlane gave me a call and together we created ‘The Quiet Achiever’ We’ve released the short film online and it has sprawled throughout the plethora of action sports websites rapidly. In the next issue of Spoke Magazine we have an 8 page feature that ties in with the film that I photographed, along with the cover below.
